The Singapore Green Building Council is pleased to present a special edition of the Thirstday with SGBC series of networking events, featuring special insights by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and a collaboration with bike sharing firm Mobike.
BCA will be sharing the results of a research study done in collaboration with the National University of Singapore, investigating indoor environment quality in Green Mark certified buildings. Through comparison and benchmarking of key parameters between Green Mark certified and non-Green Mark certified buildings, the key findings from the study center on energy efficiency as well as the occupant’s experience. Hear about these and more when BCA shares keen insights and main highlights from this study during the event.
The event will also explore one aspect of sustainability that on first look, may seem to have nothing to do with the building sector. Bike-sharing firm Mobike will share about how mobility solutions can enable insightful analytics into building users and visitors, allowing for better planning of our buildings and transport networks. There will also be a demo ride on Mobikes along the Marina Bay Promontory Area, allowing you to have a first-hand experience on using the bike-sharing app and familiarising yourself with the bike-sharing model.
The details of the event are as follows:
- Date: Thursday, 5 October 2017
- Time: 3.00PM to 5.30PM
- Venue: Sands Expo and Convention Centre
As SGBC will be arranging with Mobike to provide the bicycles, please let us know if you are cycling under the "Tracks" section when registering for the event.
